[Eduspotnews], The Final International Essay Contest for SEA-Teacher Alumni is attended by top 10 finalists from 3 countries, such as: Thailand, Phillippine, and Indonesia. International Essay Contest for SEA-Teacher Alumni is the first contest for SEA-Teacher Alumni which is held by Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Lampung University. Prof.Dr. Bujang Rahman, M.Si. as a vice rector of academic affairs of Lampung University has officially opened this event. (9-10 / 11)
Bujang Rahman in his speech said that “International Essay Contest for SEA-Teacher Alumni is the first essay contests which is held for SEA-Teacher Alumni. This event is held by Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Lampung University. This program is a very big strategic event. As we know that teaching is art, skill, and knowledge. To be a good and a professional teacher, we have to set our knowledge of teaching experience, including the methode, technology, teaching media, teaching assessment, and etc. I give high appreciation for this program, especially for the participants from Indonesia, Phillippine, and Thailand. I would like to say Welcome to Lampung, especially in Lampung University. I hope this event will be success and all of finalist can give a good performance for this program“. on 10th of November 2017, this seminar is attended by 6 finalist as follows:
- Mr. Prince Ricky A. Varona from Quezon Blvd. Bayambang, Pangasinan Philippine,
- Muhammad Richsan Yamin from Universitas Negeri Makasar, Indonesia,
- Nurul Huda Gus Theme from Universitas Lambung Mangkurat,
- Ghea Flasentika from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia,
- Sandi Kurnia Alfiano from University of Lampung, and
- Mr. Ahlo Yersaw from Phranakhon Rajabhat University.
While, on 11th of November the six finalist have visited some tourist attraction in Lampung, such as Pahawang Island, the center of Lampung souvenirs, and etc.
The first winner of this event awarded to Mr. Ahlo Yersaw and got USD 600 as the prize. For the second winner is awarded to Muhammad Richsan Yamin and got USD 400 as the prize. The third winner awarded to Mr. Prince Ricky A. Varona and got USD 300 as the prize.
