A BRIEF HISTORY
The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in the University of Lampung started from the Jakarta State Institute of Teacher Training and Education (IKIP) in Tanjungkarang branch, the first lecture began in the 1966/67 school year. Based on Presidential Decree No. 7 of 1968, IKIP Jakarta Tanjungkarang branch was integrated into the University of Lampung into 2 (two) faculties, namely the Teaching Faculty (FK) and the Faculty of Education (FIP). The Teaching Faculty consists of majors in Civic Law Education, Corporate Economic Education, Historical Education, Indonesian Language Education, Geography Education and Mathematics Education. Whereas the Faculty of Education (FIP) has only one department, the Department of General Education. Based on Government Regulation Number 5 of 1980 with Presidential Decree Number 43 / M / 1982, the Teaching Faculty (FK) and the Faculty of Education (FIP) were merged into one faculty, named the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the University of Lampung (FKIP Unila).
